Crock-pot Breakfast Bake
Ingredients:
1 (26 oz) bag frozen hash browns
4 whole eggs
10 egg whites
1 cup skim milk
¼ tsp nutmeg
12 turkey sausage links
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
16 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
¼ green onions
1 cup mushrooms, copped
1 cup tomato, chopped
1 cup bell pepper, chopped
Directions:
1. Spray crock pot and evenly spread hash browns at the bottom.
2. Mix eggs and egg whites in a bowl till frothy and mixed well.
3. Add in milk and nutmeg, mix well.
4. Add salt and pepper, mix well, set aside.
5. Cook the sausage on high heat, drain and set aside.
6. Dice sausage into ½ pieces, place into crock on top of hash browns.
7. Add cheese and any other veggies you may want, to crock, mix well.
8. Pour the egg mixture over everything in the crock pot.
9. Gently mix everything together and spread it out evenly.
10. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or overnight and serve for breakfast.
Great when you have a crowd over, serves about approx. 8
