Pudgy Pie



Pudgy Pie


Great idea for campfires, the pudgy pie and so easy to make.

You need:

Bread
Butter or Margarine
Filling

Method

Spread your butter on the outer side of the bread, put one piece on the pudgy pie iron.

Then choose your filling...

If you want a sweet pie, add pie filling, jam or jelly, Nutella, a cinnamon roll from a rolled pkg., the choices are endless...

If you want a savory pie, add left over spagetti, ham & cheese, bacon, egg & cheese, and so much more.

Remove the crust and now cook over your campfire. You’ll have to turn it often to get it golden brown on both sides. Don’t put it right in the fire but you want it pretty close. The pie iron needs to get nice and hot. Then take it out and voila there is your pudgy pie.
