Camp Burger


Camp Burger


Burger filled with veggies and other goodies to keep them moist. This recipe is for a big crowd. You can either scale back or make and freeze for a fast dinner another day.

Ingredients

3 lbs. ground beef
½ lb. breakfast sausage
1 cup carrots
½ onion
1 garlic clove
¼ cup Barbecue sauce
1 cup favorite shredded cheese
2 tsp salt
2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

In a food processor puree onion, carrots and garlic.


Place ground beef in a large bowl


Add onion mixture and remaining ingredients to beef.
Form hamburger patties to the size you like.


With knuckle indent the center of the patties (this helps to keep them flat when cooking

Notes
Actual grill time can vary from grill to grill. Usually it will take about 5-6 minutes on the first side and 4-5 minutes on the second side.
